I was recently quoted in an article in “Psychology Brief.” The authors asked clinicians about their best practices for opening a session after a rupture in the therapeutic relationship. 

I shared my take on the topic through the lens of body psychotherapy. Body language, breathing and facial expression are key anchors here to open the discussion about the client’s emotions and state of mind.
